MONTAGUT teamed up with Jean-Baptiste Blanc, a versatile French artist in Shanghai, to rejuvenate our iconic flower. Inspired by Jean Cocteau and Henri Matisse, he reimagined the flower with simplified, vibrant shapes, blending masculine coarse brushwork with sensual strokes. Using a refined French color palette, Jean-Baptiste infused cultural elegance into his art. His choice of red ink honored Chinese traditions, reflecting our respect for the local culture. This collaboration seamlessly merged our French sophistication with Jean-Baptiste's artistic innovation, bringing fresh life to the Montagut symbol.
