FIL LUMIERE, a registered trademark, is MONTAGUT's most renowned product. Named after its shiny texture that is comparable to silk, this exclusive synthetic yarn made out of Polyamide, and mostly used for the production of polo-shirts, is the resuilt of a sophisticated manufacturing process engineered in 1963 by Leo Gros, the grand-son-in-law of the MONTAGUT founder.
The FIL LUMIERE polo-shirts are distinguished by their high aesthetic qualities and vibrant colorways. They offer unique features of being soft, shining, elastic, comfortable with improved wrinkle resistance, durability and high color retention. The manufacturing process includes more than one hundred operations and requires highly precise knitting technics.
SWEAT CONDUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY
Especially designed and tested for warm and humid climates, our FIL LUMIERE knitwear have been widely acclaimed across Asia. Our sweat conductive technology helps pull sweat away from the body and transport to the fabric surface where it evaporates without the fabric itself getting wet. The FIL LUMIERE knit absorbs less water and dries out much faster than natural fibers, while keeping its shape and colour after washing.
